Are you using electrolyte substances?
If not you should be, electrolytes are salts and sugars, not just sodium chloride, but others such as potassium and calcium which are lost when the body loses water through sweat. Electrolyte imbalance is proved to reduce speed, power and leads to increase levels of fatigue and build up of lactic acid. The imbalance is not just caused by sweat but also by increased water intake, the more water you take on without electrolytes the increase in imbalance. Arches boxing recommends adding an electrolyte substance to your water and to take it before, during and after training. For more information see your trainer, but please stay away from high sugar supposed sport drinks.
